You’ll notice this right away in your new home, especially in the lumber used to frame your home, and the brand name appliances, fixtures, and other materials used for exterior and interior building and finishing.

Lumber
We always use number two grade lumber or better, even when building codes require less. Using number one lumber would be more expensive, without any real structural benefit. The difference between number one and number two is generally cosmetic.
